Why Go to a Pediatric Dental Office

A Pediatric Dentist has an additional two years of specialized training that allows him to treat children from infancy through adolescent years. This special training provides Dr. Sanjuan with the ability to deal with children's different behaviors and their individual dental growth and development.

Do I Stay with my Child During the First Visit?

We invite you to stay with your child during the initial examination. During future appointments, we suggest you allow your child to accompany our staff through the dental experience. We can usually establish a closer rapport with your child when you are not present. Our purpose is to gain your child's confidence and overcome apprehension. However, if you choose, you may come with your child to the treatment room. For the safety and privacy of all patients, other children who are not being treated should remain in the reception room with a supervising adult.

As a Pediatric Dental Office, we are dedicated to helping children form a positive attitude towards dental care. We approach dentistry in a fun and gentle manner. Our fun filled environment with games, TV, music and movies makes each visit a relaxed and positive experience for the children.

Please be courteous and turn off your cell phone before entering the clinical area.  If you need to talk on the phone we ask you to step outside.

Appointments

If you arrive more than 15 minutes late to your child’s appointment it will be rescheduled. Your account may be charged a fee for the following: If you fail to show for your child’s appointment. If you do not give us a 48 hours’ notice to cancel or reschedule your child’s appointment. All fees must be paid before we are able to reschedule your child’s appointment.

TLC Pediatric Dentistry strives to provide your child with quality care that fits into your budget!  We offer outside financing through Care Credit.

We do expect and will ask that you pay for any and all services for your child at the time the services are rendered. We accept cash, Personal Checks, Visa, Master Card, and American Express and Discover.

As a courtesy to our patients, our experienced staff will be glad to file insurance claim forms for you.
